Jourdan Blue, a 23-year-old street performer from New Orleans, captured the national spotlight with an audition that delivered much more than just a great vocal performance. His rendition of Breakeven by The Script earned him the coveted Golden Buzzer<\/strong> from judge Howie Mandel at the start of AGT\u2019s 20th season.<\/p>\n

Growing up, Jourdan faced adversity: he lived on the streets for a time as a teenager and eventually turned to busking on New Orleans\u2019 Bourbon Street in order to support his girlfriend and young son. \u00a0He shared with the judges that his audition was inspired in part by a traumatic event on the very block where he performed: a truck attack, which made him re-evaluate his life and decide to \u201clevel up.\u201d<\/p>\n
